My philosophy on fashion:
- Spend no less than an hour in front of the mirror. (kidding) Vanity does NOT equal beauty. In the words of Christina Aguilera, “we are beautiful, no matter what they say.”
- Wear your favourite shoes and strut your stuff.
- Don’t go for a certain look, go for YOUR look.
- Do what makes you comfortable. You may be wearing Jimmy Choo’s but if you don’t feel comfortable in them, it don’t mean a thing. Aldo is definitely my best friend. ;)
- Price does not mean quality. You can find so many quality pieces at small, inexpensive, boutiques.
- Your most important fashion accessory is your smile. Showcase it for all to see.
- Be YOU.

I’m not afraid to say I’m religious, but you don’t need to be in the temple everyday to know that there’s something wrong in this world when bigots can preach hate openly in the media while other people from various religions, ethnicities, sexual orientations, genders, castes and classes are denied their basic rights of freedom. Freedom to marry the person they love. Freedom to tell people how they identify. Freedom to make their voices heard through media.
Together, we need to unite and end this war on equality and combat every bigotrous attack on basic human rights.
Unity made humanity fierce. It can make it as fierce as ever before.
